General Notes: Son of Henry and Margaret Howland Noted events in his life were: • He immigrated on the Mayflower manservant to John Carver in 1620 to Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts. During the Atlantic voyage, he was swept overboard and rescued. He also served as a member of the party that explored Cape Cod before the landing in Plymouth. John married Elizabeth Tilley [7405] [MRIN: 3063] before 1625 in Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts. (Elizabeth Tilley [7405] was born on 30 Aug 1607 in Henlow, Bedfordshire, England and died on 21 Dec 1687 in Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts.) |
