General Notes: Son of Edward and Katherine (Reynolds) Starbuck Research Notes: OWT reports marriage to Deborah Coffin the same year and as to Mary Coffin. Nantucket VR to 1850 lists marriage to Mary Coffin. Noted events in his life were: • He owned land on 2 Oct 1661 in Dover, New Hampshire. 1 conveyed to Peter Coffyn of Dover one dwelling house at Cochequa in Dover and two acres of land belonging to it; also 100 acres of land and one-half of the frresh marsh that was lately my father Edward Starbuck's on Nechawacke river; also 30 acres of land and 6 acres of salt marsh that was my father's lying on south-east side of ye great bay in Pascattoquoch river. Nathaniel married Mary Coffin [6284] [MRIN: 2437], daughter of Tristram Coffin, Sr. [125] and Dionysis Stephens [136], in 1662. (Mary Coffin [6284] was born on 20 Feb 1645/46 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, died on 13 Sep 1717 in Sherbourne, Nantucket County, Massachusetts 2 and was buried in 1717 in Nantucket, Nantucket County, Massachusetts.) |
