General Notes: Son of Isaac Graves (1741 - 1818) and Elizabeth Cowherd (1751 - 1791) married 1772 Noted events in his life were: • He served in the military from 1812 to 1814. 1 He was a soldier in the War of 1812, and was commissioned Captain in 1814 by Governor James Barbour for the performance of some duty assigned him which "was done in a martial and military manner" Jacob married Frances “Fanny” White [4705] [MRIN: 1716] on 20 Sep 1800 in Orange County, Virginia.1 (Frances “Fanny” White [4705] was born on 13 Oct 1774 in Orange County, Virginia and died on 18 Oct 1819 in Virginia.) Jacob next married Mary Walker [4706] [MRIN: 1717] about 1825.1 (Mary Walker [4706] was born about 1781 1 and died in 1866 1.) |
