Noted events in his life were: • Military: "said to have been the first to heave tea overboard in Boston harbor", 1775, Boston, Massachusetts. 4 However, the website, www.boston-tea-party.org does not list a Hezekiah Coffin on the list of participants Hezekiah married Abigail Coleman [6013] [MRIN: 1415], daughter of Daniel Coleman [6020] and Elizabeth Mooers [6021], on 4 Feb 1762 in Nantucket, Nantucket County, Massachusetts.1 2 (Abigail Coleman [6013] was born on 10 Aug 1743 in Nantucket, Nantucket County, Massachusetts 5 and died on 26 Apr 1836 in Nantucket, Nantucket County, Massachusetts.) |
