Noted events in his life were: • Membership: Boston Society for the Prevention of Intemperance, 1817, South Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. 6 "No member of the Society, except in case of sickness, shall drink any distilled spirit or wine, in any house in town, except his own, or the one in which he resides. No member shall offer or furnish, except in case of sickness, to any inhabitant of the town, any distilled spirit or wine, whether they be visitors or laborers, but shall use his influence to discourage the ruinous practice." • He was buried at the Bass River Bapist Church Cemetery in Bass River, Barnstable County, Massachusetts in 1857. 7 AKA as Bass River Bapist Church Cemetery.
