His death date on Yarmouth Death Records is listed as 3 November 1886, age 83 yrs., 9 months, 3 days. His gravestone lists his death date as 3 December 1886, aged 83 years. It seems his gravestone date is incorrect, and the vital record is the correct date, as his age on death record calculates as his correct birth of 31 January 1803.
