(www.Ancestry.com), Page 57. Twining, William, born in England, died in Eastham, April 15, 1659, Married Anne Doane, about 1652, died Feb. 27, 1680. She may have been the sister of John Doane.
He resided in Eastham near the Town Cove, probably coming there from Plymouth where he was of record as early as 1641, although at that time he may have been living in Yarmouth, whre he was able to bear arms in 1643. He held minor town offices in Eastham.
