Richard Baker [1374]
(1712-Bef 1760) |
Richard Baker [1374] 1 3
General Notes: Richard Baker was reported to have received a bounty for entering theservice in 1758 and was reported "deserted" on July 19. This meantthat he either was missing or dead. Here it probably meant he haddied as the settlement of his estate followed in about two years, andhe died intestate. All children except David were probably under agewhen Richard died as the mother was made guardian for them. Richardwas at that time 21. The marriage records and the birth of thesechildren were probably lost with a section of the local records. Richard married Elizabeth Wetherell [1376] [MRIN: 613], daughter of John Wetherell [1506] and Mercy Snow [1507], on 10 Apr 1736 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1 2 |
