John Leicestger or Leicester. • He immigrated from 1635 to 1640 to Boston Colony. 5 • He had a residence after 1641 in Boston Colony. 3 His farm was on part of Copp's Hill, Boston, later donated to become Copp's Hill Burial Grounds. • He signed a will proved on 15 Mar 1669/70. 6 "... mentions wife Judith, daughter Tewksbury, sons David and Jonathan; daughters Ruth and Lydia; grandchildren William, Thomas, John and Mary Harvey, John and Sarah Atwood, Samuel and Sarah Norden; David was executor. His wife Judith joined the First Church January 24, 1640-1; died March 25, 1670, aged sixty-five. Children: 1. Joanna, married Hugh Northend. 2. Ann, married August u, 1646, Herman Atwood. 3.
